So doing a little yard work while Rob is on vacation this week. Removing rotting wood and cleaning up piles of limbs. I want to try and have this house ready to sell in a few months. It would have been better to have it ready at the beginning of summer since people usually don't like uprooting their kids in the middle of the school year but... meh - whadya gonna do?
One of the potato plants is flowering. Don't now if it is a yellow or red. Heh - just some I bought from Aldi's and managed to make sprout. I'll try to keep some from this harvest to replant next year. Will have to see how they grow.
The zucchini is growing well too.
I think I am avoiding the house work for now - scared to actually get a realtor in here and try and sell the house for what I think it is worth and not the current foreclosure-happy market.
One step at a time I suppose.

Picture Day!
Just some pictures of the rose bush I planted out front this spring and the garden. Rather proud about how they are turning out.

Wooo
Well with some help from Allie I finished planting the garden. Now I just need to tend it and hopefully food will magically appear.
I also finished the second book in my series - it will need polishing but at least it is done.
Feeling: Accomplished.

I admit, I have been horrible at this blog thing. Good news though - I am working on my books again.

Slacking
I be slacking on posts. Shame on me. Didn't make it many weeks before I missed one which is disappointing. But at least things are going well on the home front.
Gardens are kicking into swing, weather is AMAZING today (high 70s) and little girl M and I went to the park with the dogs. Can't get much better than that.

Learn By Doing
Learn by doing, has become one of my favorite phrases. Gumption is one of my favorite words. I like to have a lot of "try". The worst thing you can do in my eyes is not try. Do something, even if it is wrong, but at least try your best to do something right. The only way we learn things is by doing them wrong the first time.
So I rushed some of my plants out in the little garden in front of the house. I know it is too early but I was either going to have to put them in the ground or put them in larger containers. I figure I might as well put them in the ground. It has been really nice weather as of late and I can cover them if it gets a bit chilly.
I do have to say I have let some projects fall to the side with getting the garden ready. I haven't been working on my book any, the home repairs haven't been getting done, and my ebay stuff hasn't been getting up. Somehow I need to find some more time in the day. Or a little more gumption to not slack.
Random post is random.
